Swarna Jayanti Haryana Premier League T20 Championship under aegis of Haryana government will be held from February 4 to Feburary 13. Haryana Premier League will comprise of six establishment groups (Panchkula Kings, Sirsa Warriors, Kurukshetra Tigers, Hisar Bulls, Rohtak Blasters, Gurugram Gladiators).

Add up to 90 players will be chosen on trial premise and will be disseminated among every one of the groups. All the matches will be live broadcast on Neo Prime Sports channel. All matches will be played at Sector 16 cricket stadium.

“This super occasion has been sorted out by Fair Play Sports Promotions and GD Sharma Memorial Cricket Society under the aegis of Haryana Government,” said Joginder Sharma arranging secretary. He expounded that All day-night matches would be played at Chandigarh’s Sector 16 stadium and there would be live broadcast of all matches on Neo Prime games channel.

Tending to the mediapersons, convener of Haryana Swarn Jayanti Commitee Rajeev Sharma IAS (retd) stated, “We need to give maturing cricketers of Haryana a chance to sparkle and experience world level cricket at comparable titles .Haryana Swarn Jayanti League competition will be played under the BCCI rules/T-20 Format.”

In the interim, nine ex-Haryana cricketers, including Chetan Sharma, Sarkar Talwar, Rakesh Jolly, Antaratam Singh, Sharanjit Singh, Sukhwinder Bawa, Sushil Kapoor, Sandeep Moudgill, Virender Chopra were respected by the Governor.

First time in history of Haryana T 20 League according to BCCI benchmarks the champ will be compensated with Rs 21 lakh.

Haryana had commended its 50 years of statehood on November 1, 2016.
